Maria do Nascimento Audenete – Adult Woman in the Body of a Baby

Maria do Nascimento Audenete suffers from severe hypothyroidism. She was born in 1981.  Her condition has stopped her growth since she was nine months old. Sadly, this could have been prevented with hormonal therapy when Maria was younger; however, Maria grew up in a poor family in Brazil and treatment was not made available to her. Maria is not able to speak or walk, and has worn diapers for more than three decades.
